Giuseppe Ducrot

Giuseppe Ducrot was born in Rome in 1966, where he lives and works.

After a period of painting, drawing, and experimenting, Giuseppe Ducrot came under the tutelage of the artist Vito Cipolla, from whom he learned the craft of sculpture. The classical art of ancient Rome, Greek sculptures, as well as the tempestuous inventions of the Baroque period are among the inspirations for his multifaceted work.

As part of the major renovation in 2015, Giuseppe Ducrot was commissioned to design the fireplace in the entrance hall. The artwork was produced in the Ceramica Gatti workshop in Faenza, Italy and assembled on-site from individual parts.
