Nives Widauer was born in 1965 in Basel and now lives in Vienna.

The piece in the showcase of the "Smokers' Lounge" on the ground floor from 2011, "I'D RATHER STAY HOME," consists of four red vintage Samsonite suitcases from her collection, with the eponymous inscription distributed in metal letters across the four suitcases.
