Paul Renner was born in 1957 in Bregenz. He lives and works in Austria and Italy.
For years, Paul Renner has been exploring more comprehensive solutions in his work, solutions that no longer make painting the sole carrier of artistic thought. The surface to be designed becomes a multidimensional space for him, both physical and metaphysical. His approach is deliberately anarchic, subversive, and experimental, and it is directed against the constraints of understanding.
